Day 10 since our official opening, we had the privilage of hosting a private function. K brought his family and his girlfriend to celebrate his dad's 60th. It was really sweet. The resident trio is now a duo since the bassist had to leave for work. I am thinking of joining them and to play the bass with a keyboard as it sounds pretty empty. Maybe I should try an pick up the bass. Lets see how it goes. A couple walked in, I thought the guy looked familiar, after some fact finding, I realised we used to play in the same pub but on different days in the early 90's, the pub use to be called Mirage (had a name change but we could not remember it) and was on Pesiaran Greenhill Greentown if I am not mistaken, anyway a small blast from the past. Zul has been the bandleader of the resident band at Ore Ore, a girly nightclub for the last 3 years. Anyway Zul (012 491 3899) is available for private events as a singer with a band or on his own and he can sing in all four languages. D did the last set solo today and it was an off set for him as the 6th string on the accoustic could not be stringed, but the folks at the private function enjoyed it.
